French Le Figaro correspondent, German feature writer and Danish Getty photographer looking for full time news/research assistant 

You would work with:

– Sebastian Faletti – the Shanghai correspondent for the French newspaper  Le Figaro

– Xifan Yang – a German-Chinese writer/journalist for renowned magazines such as Stern/Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazine/Geo

– David Hogsholt – who’s is a Danish photojournalist with Getty Images

Who we are looking for:

You’re independent-minded and fast-thinking. You would need to do research, interviews, translation and, of course, field work.

Ideal profile would be a young graduate with a strong interest in journalism, political, economic, social and international affairs.

If you have worked in media before it is an advantage but not a prerequisite. You have to be good at organizing your time and equally good at calling businessmen on the phone or talking to farmers in the countryside.

Days can be long in journalism, so we would need you to be flexible and sometimes work odd hours.

A friendly and relaxed work environment, situated in a shared office in Julu Road.

You would get to work next to some of the best and nicest research assistants in town who work for German Stern Magazine, British Daily Telegraph and Swiss Radio.
