Swedish Television’s Beijing bureau cameraman is moving on to other freelance projects at his own request, and we are therefore searching for his successor. A TV camerawoman/cameraman and news editor to work with our Asia Pacific Correspondent Susan Ritzén, based in Beijing, China.
The assignment involves news gathering, editing, live broadcasting and online publishing of news, sports and current affairs reports, in China and elsewhere in Asia and Oceania. Swedish Television News department is focused on publishing stories on all our current platforms; in our daily news TV programmes, online and in different social media like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
We have an exciting full time freelance job opportunity for the right person, and are looking for a skilled television camerawoman/cameraman, a swift news editor who is used to live broadcasts and working online and on social media. The job assignment is a one year contract, with the possibility to be extended, and will start in the beginning of 2016.
We are interested in taking onboard a good storyteller who speaks English very well, has good social skills and is prepared to travel extensively. It is important that you find it easy to cooperate, that you can handle stressful situations and technical problems, and that you are willing to take a lot of own initiatives and responsibility for our total production.
