 The FCPA is increasingly in the news in China as a result of investigations into possible wrongdoing at foreign businesses involved in industries ranging from pharmaceuticals to financial services. What exactly is the FCPA? How does it apply in a China context? Are more FCPA-related cases likely in the future as President Xi cracks down on corruption? How are companies in China preparing to stay compliant with anti-corruption rules?

About the Speaker: 

Lesli Ligorner is a partner in the Shanghai office of law firm Simmons & Simmons where she specializes in employment and anti-corruption matters. Since 2011 Lesli has been annually named as one of the Attorneys Who Matter in the “Labor & Employment” category by the Ethisphere Institute for her work in corporate ethics and compliance.
