Join the FCC for a private tour of global exhibition Coal + Ice, a documentary film exhibition that narrates the chain of actions triggered by mankind’s use of coal.

The exhibition brings together work from over 30 photographers, including from China, the US, Malaysia and Russia, and is designed to lead through the depths of coal mines, to sweeping, shrinking glaciers, to the Tibetan Plateau, tracking the lives of billions of people who have their lives disrupted by the impact of greenhouse gases.

The exhibition is not open to the public, but is being hosted in a private venue by the Asia Society while it passes through Shanghai. This is a rare chance to consider the impact of the global coal industry in a sweeping, visual narrative.

This event is for members; 100 RMB for non-members.
