Dear members, board elections are coming up in August, and the FCC would like to invite anyone who’d like to play a role on the next board, or who would like to tell the board what he/she really thinks of it, or who likes free booze, to a happy hour this Thursday at the air-conditioned cocktail palace of the Funky Monkey near Fuxing Park. Current members can have 3 free drinks from a selected list from 7-9 pm. We will also throw in some snacks. If you want to avail yourself of Funky Monkey’s rather exotic liquor selection, you may do so on your own dime. You are also welcome to try to win free drinks in the Monkey’s yet-to-be-won constantly running music trivia competition. We have never been able to do it.

Daquiris with Ron Agricole

Draft beer

Shots of Reposado tequila

Bottled beers

Gordon’s gin and tonic (G&Ts are house specialty)

Non-alcoholic beverages
