In May, representatives from 110 countries will meet at the Belt and Road Forum in Beijing to discuss Xi Jinping’s flagship project. How much progress has China made in building “One Belt, One Road”, what are the challenges ahead, and how does the initiative fit into China’s ambitions to replace the US as the dominant power in Asia?
Tom Miller, whose latest book China’s Asian Dream: Empire building Along the New Silk Road was published last month, will consider these questions and share his insights into China’s geopolitical ambitions.
