Job purpose Ensuring that all client-facing documents are well written and in line with company formatting and the style guide, and that content is edited for quality and consistency.
Tasks and responsibilities Editorial support

  • Act as an English-language editor to a team of multilingual consultants across Asia Pacific producing client reports
  • Assist with editing and formatting proposals and reports, and provide feedback on content and quality
  • Promote and maintain the company style manual as the minimum standard for documents
  • Assist with the preparation of client presentations, corporate communications and marketing collateral
  • Mentor and coach consultants on their report writing to continually improve and develop their professional writing skills
  • Assist with the review and testing of templates and in-house Word and PowerPoint toolbars


Desk management

  • Work with the Asia Pacific editing team (based in Shanghai, Delhi and Sydney) to co-ordinate timely and effective editorial support
  • Liaise with consultants to manage workflow and timing of delivery to clients
  • Maintain a workflow spreadsheet
  • Archive edited copies in the relevant folder structure
Knowledge and experience
  • Copy editing to house style

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint
  • High attention to detail
Qualifications and specialist skills Essential

  • Excellent command of English
  • High-level editing skills
  • Strong background in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent


  • Experience in a similar role, especially security or investigations related
