Sam Crispin, one of our most seasoned foreign experts on Shanghai’s real estate market, is relocating back to the UK this month after 20 years in the city. Sam will recall some of his most memorable experiences in Shanghai, discuss trends in the industry, and assess the prospects for Chinese outbound real estate investment.

About the speaker:
Sam first visited China in 1988 and has been living and working in the real estate industry here continuously since 1994. He has worked / works at a senior level in a number of firms including Savills and PwC. He also for a time ran his own property investment management company. Sam has an undergraduate degree in Chinese and geography from the University of Leeds. He is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors as well as the Urban Land Institute. Sam was also Chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai from 2006-09.
