Join us for a special evening with Dr. Kazuyuki Katayama, Japan’s Consul-General in Shanghai, as he talks about his views on Japan-China relations based on his experiences serving in China, as the two nations celebrate the 45th anniversary of normalized ties.

The event is off-the-record for members only.

About the speaker:
Dr. Katayama has been Japan’s consul-general in Shanghai since August 2015. Before this, he served as consul-general in Detroit as part of his more than 30-year career with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. A long-time China hand, Dr. Katayama first came to China as a trainee from ministry in 1984.
